One of the local Shop-Rites in NJ was giving out free Jewish calendars. Through a series of amusing connections, a relative of the Niblings from the other side thought that the picture for November looked familiar. Sure enough, it was Eli (right) and Shelomoh (left). Though I can personally attest that they would *never* say anything so insipid as the caption.

Niblings In November

Um, shouldn’t you get compensation from the photographer who took the pictures, or from the company that published the calendar?
When I was small, say, 2 or 3, a neighbor who was a photographer hired me to be a model for a couple of pictures in a textbook on child safety. I think she paid my parents about $50. You should be paid, and you should have signed a waiver signing over your rights to the images to the publisher. As it is, you should be able to sue for compensation, and/or unauthorized use of your children’s faces.
Good point, but I don’t think either the parents or kids really care too much at this point, especially since whatever compensation they’d get would not be worth the effort.
So I’m confused – who is Avi? your brother? Somehow I thought this was your child.
Vewwy cute, whoever they is.
Oh, never mind. I see. Esther is your sister, Avi the b-i-l.
And trust me, in the event of a YUTOPIA wedding, there’ll be a whole lot more posted on that.
